Hello I need help and my sons story needs to be told. My son was at Valdosta State Prison since March of 2024. The warden at the time was fired after only being the warden for sixteen months. He allowed his employees to sell drugs, rape, and beat them. My son kept himself in solitary confinement for over a year and a half to protect himself from being killed. The guards fed my son drugs and did horrific things to him. He said they would beat them with their sticks and if you didn’t comply you got raped. My son was almost 300 lbs when he went in. I picked him up on Dec 27th 2024 and he weighs 139 lbs. During the drive he was feening for drugs. Fast forward to Monday the 30th he leaves my home and comes back high. I found a facility for him to go to and get help. He would have lived there and they would’ve provided housing, counseling, and a job. I bring him there and the lady immediately can tell my son was high. She said he needs to detox. I bring him to the detox facility and he refuses to get out. I go inside speak to the nurse and she goes out to talk to him. He agreed to come in and talk. I am telling him he needs to get clean or else he is going back to prison. He is high and does not feel he has a problem. I gave him two choices you either stay here and get help or you will be homeless. I have two other children to protect and his current state of mind I was nervous for him to be home. I ended up leaving him there around 530pm. Later on that evening I get a call from the receptionist that she left her purse on the counter and my son jumped behind the counter and stole her keys and her car. My son is currently incarcerated.
My son has been done an injustice. He came out from behind those walls high. After being in solitary confinement for over a year he was sent straight to my home. I know this system is broken and they do not care about our boys/men but they did this! The warden at the prison and the employees that worked there!!!! I need a civil rights and personal injury attorney to help my son. They fed him drugs beat him and raped him. This is before and after pictures of my son. Can someone please help us??!!??? Please
There is more to the story it is just a lot to unpack here.”
